    1. Do not move, talk or stand close to, or directly behind the ball or hole when a player is addressing the ball or making a stroke.
    2. Do not play shot until the players ahead are out of range.
    3. Play without delay. Walk directly to your own ball, observing at all times that the player farthest from the hole shall normally play first.
    4. If your ball may be out-of-bounds or could be lost in the rough, a provisional ball should be played before moving off.
    5. While searching for a ball (for a maximum of 5 minutes) allow other players coming up to pass – signal to the players following to pass and do not continue your play until those players are out of range.
    6. Through the green, ensure that any turf cut or displaced is immediately replaced (or that the divot hole is filled with loam) and pressed down, and that any damage to the putting green made by the ball is carefully repaired.
    7. When the play of a hole has been completed, immediately leave the putting green and move off to the next teeing area.
    8. On a green do not stand too close to the hole and care should be taken on removal and return of flagstick.
